Welcome to Sunnyside Children’s Clinic
At Sunnyside Children’s Clinic, we specialize in improving the social and educational opportunities of autistic children and children with related developmental disorders. Based in Belfast, Northern Ireland, we are a team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and autism specialists. Our mission is to provide child-centred autism services grounded in current research and tailored to each child’s needs.
Individualised Autism Services and Intervention
Our clinic offers a wide range of autism services designed to support children both with and without a formal diagnosis. Whether a child is newly identified or has been receiving support for some time, we tailor our programmes to meet them where they are. We use contemporary, evidence-based practices grounded in the science of behaviour to design interventions that are both effective and compassionate. Each programme is carefully developed to encourage meaningful progress in key developmental areas such as communication, social interaction, emotional regulation, and adaptive behaviour.
We understand that no two children are the same. Every child we work with is viewed as a unique individual, and our autism services reflect this by offering flexible, responsive supports that adapt to their evolving needs. Our team collaborates closely with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure consistency across environments and to support each child’s growth in real-world settings. From early intervention to school-age support, we are committed to helping children thrive.
Support for Families and Professionals
We believe that supporting a child with autism means also supporting the adults in their life. That’s why we provide training and guidance for parents, caregivers, and educators. Our workshops and consultations focus on practical, real-world strategies to help children succeed in everyday environments.
Serving Northern Ireland and Beyond
Based in Belfast, we offer autism services to families throughout Northern Ireland, as well as to those in Southern Ireland and the wider UK. Our flexible service delivery includes in-person sessions, remote consultations, and school partnerships.
Ongoing Learning and Resources
We also work with professionals and educators in the community, delivering high-quality training programmes on a wide variety of autism-related topics. These sessions are informed by our ongoing commitment to the latest research and best practices.
